Our first month as part of the foodie pen pal community saw the loveliest parcel arrive at Maison Max & Mum.  We were so excited to see what surprises lay inside & we were certainly not disappointed.

We received a chocolate inspired box from Beki who is a self confessed chocoholic (a girl after my own heart) and especially for Max she sent some dinosaur cookie cutters, which after his mini obsession with "Walking With Dinosaurs" went down a storm.

Max adored Beki's Brownies or rather her Mum's as she was generous enough to share this family recipe with us and I loved the chocolate Yogi Tea (what a revelation, i'm hooked)!

Each tea bag has a little saying on the tag and the first one I used conveyed this little pearl of wisdom,

"Deal in kindness with everything in life"

I though this was quite apt as Beki had certainly shown kindness and thought in the contents she chose for our lovely box of treats, so very very big thanks Beki!
